I’m a 15 year old, can I take weight loss supplements?

Even though I have a good fat to muscle ratio, i still a lot of fat around my stomach, thighs and pecks. But I heard about this thing called “Ultra Lean Green”, it’s simply a powder you put to a bottle of water to make into green tea, and supposedly it works really well. Are there any health issues I should be worried about because of my age? And also, if you have used it or know someone who has used it, can you tell me your or their results of it. Help me out guys, I’m tired of having a bunch of fat where I don’t want it. Oh, and one more thing, diet and exercise alone doesn’t seem to cut it for me.

just check on the label because most diet supplements say you have to be 18 before using it. You may even go to the doctor and ask about it.

Teen Weight Loss?

Hi. I’m 15 years old, 5 feet and 6 inches, and I am 125 pounds. I am not trying to lose major weight. I just want to shed 5 to 10 pounds. I was wondering if there are any teen appropriate weight loss supplements or metabolism speeders. I have been exercising a lot and eating healthy foods, but I can’t seem to lose weight. Are there any effective weight loss methods or excercises that I can do that are inexpencive?? Please help. Thanks.

You can’t lose weight because you don’t need to, simple as that.

There are no safe weight loss pills for ANYONE, let alone teens.

What is the best supplement to help lose weight quickly?

I am trying desperately to lose weight. I’m 18 and have struggled with weight all my life. I would love to lose about 130 and need to do so in order to be healty. I have tried every diet in the past from low carb, to low cal and fat. I do not eat much and gain a lot more weight than what I take in. I am one string from giving up and I am desperate. I am going to give another try to weight loss and this time I am planning to use a supplement to assist me. I am also considering doing the hollywood diet on the weekends to help. I went to the store and seen all of the different supplements and just really don’t know what is best. If you could help me I would really appreciate it.

honestly no supplement out there is going to work without proper exercise and a balance diet.

to start off with focus on cardiovascular work. 3 - 4 days a week of treadmill, bike, stairmaster, etc.. work for 30 45 min and always go for time rather than intensity (meaning lower down the level inorder to complete your time if you have too)

I hope this helps. I’d do this for at least 1 month before starting weight training. when a months up ask again :)

NV weight loss pills and side effects.?

I started taking NV weight loss pills three days ago. Several hours after taking the first pill (recommended on an empty stomach) I started feeling nauseous. I’ve been that way for 3 days now. Has anyone taken this pill and had any side effects? Wondered if perhaps my body just needed to get accustomed to the pill. I also tried Smart Burn with Hoodia - no side effects but the pills are HUGE and too hard to swallow.

You shouldn’t be taking any pills to reach your goals.

All pills will make you have a lot of side effects. While taking them, you feel horrible.

A better way for you would be to do excercises or jogging.

Weight Loss Tips? WITHOUT Extreme Dieting OR Pills?!?

I want to shed a few pounds, like, 10 to 20. Any tips? I need to do this NOW! I have like, about 2 weeks at the most.

Running and stretching is crucial to some great weight loss. 20 minutes running in the morning is a good starter to your day and is fast and easy. Eat foods that have a lot of water in them (fruits, veggies, broth-based soups, etc.) and drink a lot of water (stay away from liquids with calories). Stretching before bed and when you wake up helps too.

Are people who take weight loss tablets instead of eating less and doing exercise just lazy?

In short, No.

It’s extremely hard (if not impossible) to lose weight and gain muscle at the same time. You can, however, lose fat and maintain your muscle mass. This is done by combining a low-calorie, low-sugar (low glycemic-index) diet and a cardio routine with your normal lifting routine.

Body builders go through cycles that consist of a few months of “bulking” and a few months of “cutting”. They do this because If the try to do both at the same time, one of them has to give.

When you’re trying to “cut”, or lose excess body fat, your lifestyle (diet and cardio) should be one that does not promote significant muscle gain.

My advice would be to do it the right way. Go through a bulking stage where you consume enough calories for your muscles to take full advantage of your workouts. Then, when you’re built up, go through a “cutting” phase where you cut down on the calories and try to remove sugar from your diet (only consuming complex carbohydrates, “good” fats, and plenty of protein as always).

Does anyone know if the Acai Berry Pills REALLY work for weight loss?

I have read a few different things about this and everyone is saying how great it is for just about everything. However, I know how “great” things can sound when they are trying to be sold, so I was just wondering if anyone (not interested in making a sale) has tried this. If so what were the results? i tried “Metabolife” pills about 5 years ago and i lost 30 pounds…but when i stopped the weight came right back and the pills had really bad side effects like rapid heartbeat and severe loss of appetite so 2 years ago i decided to try the Slimfast diet plan along with exercising 5 days a week i lost 50 pounds (which got me to my goal weight) and i kept it off for 2 years (until i got pregnant LOL) using diet pills is always a bad idea (most of them do not even work unless they have some type of ephedrine or Hoodia in them) the best way to lose weight is through diet and exercise…i hope this helps!!!
