Are there colleges/degrees specializing in skin care or the study of skin? I’d prefer a degree over a license.

It depends on how much education and depth of learning you’re interested in. The main degree that comes to mind is a medical degree, going on to specialize as a Dermatologist (doctor who focuses on treatment of skin conditions and skin care).

Well, I use Neutrogena Products for my face and Purpose by Johnson and Johnson to protect my skin from the sun. I do not want the sun on my face as it causes your skin to age. I use these two maiin products as they are good reputable products and my dermatologist told me to use them. Yoo can buy them at Wal Mart or any reputable store. It is also important to always take a multi vitamin and drink lots of bottled water and orange juice and other brands of juice and a good diet of fruit and healthy food helps too. Our skin is important always! Bye!

I am using Burts Bees Chamomile and Soap Bark Cleanser, but have discovered A/O being sold at Target. With summer coming, I am looking for a good line that includes a toner. My skin is combination and mildly acne prone. Any good/bad experiences with these products?

4Voo is very, very good, I happen to use the pressed powder they make.( YES 4Voo makes pressed power for men! ) I like 4/Voo a lot, it is one of the only skincare lines for men that have innovative products such as the lip plumper. My brother uses the producs and he has had wonderful results.
Best skin care and makeup for 31 year old woman?
As I get older, I find that I am getting more and more breakouts, especially around the chin area. I am not showing signs of wrinkles yet, but really want to prevent them. Any suggestions on cleansers, makeup, moisturizers, etc. for someone my age would be helpful. I am looking for a full beauty regimen to follow.

What skin care products can I do without?
I used to suffer from acne but now only get the occasional blemish. My skin is normal/dry.
All I currently use is an antibacterial face wash, oil-free day moisturizer with SPF and NeoStrata night cream with alpha hydroxy acid. And all that seems to be working fine, but …
Is an exfoliator necessary? They seem to be a waste of time to me with their p*ssy little beads … they don’t seem to smooth or brighten my complexion the way AHA does.
Is a toner necessary? People used to believe they minimize pores but more and more reports are saying that’s cr*p. Are they primarily for oily skin? My skin ISN’T oily.
Finally, do I need an eye cream? I’m only 19 but it’s probably better to start young. Are they effective? Or just a marketing ploy to make you spend more money?
Any beauty/skin care consultants or even dermatologists out there to help me out?

oil of olay is good only for not so oily skin.. take 1000IU of vitamin E everyday. will help you make your skin look glowing. yes, facial is a good idea. drink plenty of water and take fruits rich in vitamin C. use skin products rich in avocado/lemon/papaya extracts..
Is sebamed a good skin care product for asian skin,especially those with sensitive skin?

Sebamed is known for its delicacy towards skin. It has been in the market for more than 10 years i reckon, or even longer, positioning themselves as best solution with the sensitive skin. I have used Sebamed teenage facial range before, but not very satisfied with it. I do not feel any improvement on skin condition.
However, my testimonial is for reference merely. Its sad to tell you no one skin is the same, you should find out yourself which brand works best for you through trial and error. If your skin condition now is quite ok, no like too oily or too dry or too many acne, perhaps you could try one. Dont like it then swear never to get one again =)
Simple is quite a good brand as well. Average priced and gentle ingredients used, you might find it very comfortable and light on face (I used to use the product for like 2 years).
