Wedding stress relief

The day that you have long been waiting for has finally arrived! Wedding bells are now ringing in the air and you excitedly look forward to the day when you will become husband and wife. That is, until you begin planning for your own wedding. Here are a few tips that would allow you to take control of the situation and manage your stress levels as you plan for your big wedding day.

Talk to someone. You and your partner will be spending the rest of your lives with each other through thick and thin, so open up to your partner. If it is your partner’s attitude towards the wedding preparation that is causing you to be stressed out, then try talking to a close friend or a family member. Having someone that you can turn as you plan for your wedding would do wonders to your stress levels.

Delegate your work. While you have the final say in all the major decision making for the details of the wedding, you can seek the help of your friends and relatives with some of the minor details such as mailing out the invitations and following up with the caterer.

Be realistic. Let’s face it! No amount of planning can make your preparations fool-proof. The weather may suddenly turn nasty, the caterer might get lost heading to the reception site and the florist may have included your most disliked flowers in your bouquet. Take all of these in stride and not spend too much time worrying. Make do with what you have with a smile on your face. You’ll be able to laugh about it after a few short months.

Spend quality time with your partner. Take time out to have some quality time for yourself and your partner without discussing about wedding details. It will give you two some time to dream and look forward to your future lives together.

Stress for moms

Imagine this: your children are running and screaming around the house. Tonight’s dinner is burning away on top of the stove. The telephone has been ringing non-stop. The bills are still on the kitchen counter and were due yesterday. There is a long list of errands that have yet to be started. On top of that, your mother-in-law has just told you that she will be coming over tomorrow to stay for a couple of days.

If the scenario is all too familiar to you, you are not alone. Being a mom can be extremely stressful. Here are a few tips to manage your stress levels and keeping your sanity in check:

Schedule your day and stick with it – While surprises are a part of being a mother, having some form of schedule for the day will allow you to get more things done. If circumstances need you to divert from your schedule, you can always go back to it to find out where you have left off and take it from there.

Wake up earlier. Waking up 30 minutes before everyone else will allow you to complete some tasks without distractions. This would bring back some sense of control back into your life.

Take a break. Try to allot about 15 minutes each day for yourself. This would allow your body and your mind to recharge and make yourself prepared to carry on the rest of the day.

Spend time with your friends. Maintaining a calm composure no matter how stressful the situation may be is a basic characteristic associated to mothers. But this is the main reason why many mothers are prone to stress-related illnesses and discomforts. Venting out your frustrations with friends or simply just having a simple get together without your husband or children in tow is a good stress reliever.

Business stress article

Being stressed out does not help a budding entrepreneur. Stress affects our bodies and would cause a person to experience headaches, irritable bowel and stomach problems, weight loss and weight gain, depression and anxiety. It also affects our state of mind hampering the decision-making process crucial to the success of any small business. Here are a few methods that would allow a small business owner to manage his or her stress levels.

Take a break. Take 10-15 minute break intervals to do something that you enjoy. Working continuously would only burn you out and would cause you to repeat previous works that have already been completed. This will allow you to recharge yourself and make you feel rejuvenated to carry on working.

Stay Focused. Once in a while, ask yourself, “What is the goal that I want to achieve?” It will allow you to focus on completing one task with high quality as opposed to trying to juggle a variety of different tasks, which would oftentimes result in you not completing anything at all. Create a list of the things that need to be accomplished and ranking them as to which is the most important, and then scratch it off from the list as soon as it has been completed.

It’s okay to make mistakes. While it is true that quality is important in everything that you do, it is also normal not to get things right the first time. Having to do revisions of the work based on the evaluation of your client should be taken in stride and viewed as a learning experience.

Learn how to say “NO”. Client service and customer satisfaction is of high importance for any business. Prioritize clients who have already requested your service before entertaining last minute ones. This would be seen as you ensuring that you give each and every client the attention they expect from you.

How to cope up with stress

Here is how you can cope up with stress because effects of stress can be really bad for your health.

If you have been recently plagued with aches and pains that seem to come out from nowhere, chances are they are stress-related. Stress-related symptoms often go unnoticed until it is too late because stress consumes the body, mind and soul silently. Learning how to cope with stress is not just the only way to deal with these unbearable discomforts, but it is also as easy as 1-2-3.
Step 1 – Go easy on stimulants. One of the first symptoms that you’re stress levels are extremely high is when you wake up in the morning and you feel that you have just run a marathon. Getting enough rest is the first step is vital to keep your stress levels at a minimum. Stay clear from stimulants such as coffee, alcohol, cigarettes or pain killers, especially before bedtime. While they may initially soothe your nerves, these contain stimulants that you cause you to have an uneasy sleep.

Step 2 – Stretching does wonders. Enroll in a yoga or pilates class at your local gym. Not only would you be able to stay in shape and increase your flexibility, but the various stretching and breathing techniques loosens up muscles in the body that tense up as a result of the body’s reaction towards stress.

Step 3 – Stop and breathe. More and more people are now prone to stress today simply because we always need to do so many things at such a short span of time. Give yourself a few minutes every day for yourself by simply not doing anything except breathing. Taking a stroll during your lunch break or curling up beside your window with a good book allows your heart rate to slow down and eventually minimize feelings of palpitations, uneasiness and shortness of breath which are common symptoms related to stress.

Kidney Stone Treatment — Is Surgery a Must?

By Cullen Nedrich | Date Submitted: 10/08/10

Keywords: kidney stone symptoms, kidney stone diet, kidney stone treatment, kidney stone pain

More Details about none here.

Summary: You may have troubles with your kidney stones. Most will panic and end up deciding that they will need surgery. Surgery usually brings side effects, so do you need this to pass your kidney stones and relieve your pain?

Kidney stones usually start out as being something small and minute, but over time after the minerals and insoluble salts that form the stone combine and often enlarge, which means that the kidneys are unable to break down the mass. This is known to cause an extreme amount of pain that is said to feel like being stabbed in the back. With common stones, simply upping the amount of water you drink in a day can ensure that any stones that may form are soluble enough to properly exit your body without any type of pain or hassle. However, sometimes a kidney stone can require certain types of treatment, especially if you are prone to them or you suffer from one of the rarer kinds. There are several different kinds of treatments that you can consider to help treat and get rid of your kidney stones. The purpose of all of the treatments is to get the stone out the renal system, generally through urination. Some of the treatments are given to help minimize pain during the process. Take time to research the ma
ny different treatments that are available to you. Some are natural while some are last resort methods, such as surgery.

Kidney Stone Treatment

There is a wide variety of treatments used to treat kidney stones; some are natural while others require a doctor. You want to find a treatment that will help reduce the frequency of your stones as well.

The best treatment for your kidney stones really depends on the size and the type of stones that you have. Using alpha blockers and increasing your water intake may work for smaller, more common stones. Staying hydrated is one of the easiest methods to use to help treat certain kinds of kidney stones. Drinking 2 glasses of water every 2 hours allows your body to stay properly hydrated. This means that your body will have the proper amount if liquid to flush out any kidney stones that may need to be passed.

But, if you’re suffering from lower back pain on a constant basis, this method may not work. When you experience this type of pain,
it is usually an indication that the stone is lodged within your urinary tract. When this happens, it’s important to see a doctor ASAP so that the proper treatment can be given to you, even if it means surgery or shock treatment.

But, this is a very expensive method as hospital bills and doctor fees really become costly in the end.

All it requires is for you to drink the liquid and then eat a strict diet of certain green vegetables. Doing these two things at once will ensure that your body can break down and successfully pass the kidney stone. This method is entirely natural and safe, and even diabetics can use it as there isn’t any added sugar or caffeine. Try this method if you want something that really works.

Signs of Kidney Stones in Women – Know the Early Symptoms

By Alvin Hopkinson | Date Submitted: 11/29/10

More Details about Kidney Stones Treatment here.

Summary: Although the signs of kidney stones in women are pretty much alike in men, women have greater threshold for pain because their bodies are ready to give birth. A lot of women think that the kidney stone pain is identical with the intensity of pain…

Kidney stones are not easy to handle, especially with the intensity of pain that they can create. Before, kidney stones happened typically in men, however these days, women are also prone to this kind of disorder and their cases are a bit increasing. This has occurred due to the incorrect lifestyle nowadays.

Although the signs of kidney stones in women are pretty much alike in men, women have greater threshold for pain because their bodies are ready to give birth. A lot of women think that the kidney stone pain is identical with the intensity of pain one can get from giving birth.

There are so many common signs of kidney stones in women, but the main one is the lower back pain felt in the kidney area, normally on one side but not both concurrently. The level of pain may either be constant or disrupted. It will hardly ever fade away entirely. Although the pain may disperse by taking an analgesic tablet, however, the degree of pain will presumably increase and its location will become m
ore specific after a few hours or even days.

Also, there can be a burning sensation and a feeling of stomach cramping upon urinating. Frequently, kidney stones are associated with urinary tract infections because the stone is likely to tear the flesh as it moves in your body, which can be a source of further problems. Bleeding, discoloration and sturdy smell of urine, with a frequent yearning to urinate may also be observed.

Likewise, fever, chills, and vomiting may also be present. Intake of beverages and other alcoholic products can be a factor responsible for the increasing incidence of kidney stones in women because they are more sensitive to them compared to men.

It is very essential to detect the occurrence of kidney stones at the earliest time possible. Otherwise, they could be dangerous. Since roughly 80 percent of kidney stones consist of calcium aggregates, women who take calcium supplements should be extra careful. Some research studies showed that the danger of kidney ston
es decreases radically if these supplements are consumed as a part of a meal rather than an enhancement to food.

Kidney stones should be taken seriously because it causes complications like inflammations, blockages, and infections that can lead to death. However, most signs of kidney stones in women and men as well, do not normally show unless they are big enough to cause problems.

This is also the reason why women tend to keep their bodies free from this disease by doing habitual kidney flushes and further natural cleansing techniques. Thus, it is always wise to get medical attention as soon as these symptoms appear to prevent further problems.

How Long Does it Take to Pass a Kidney Stone?

By Mae Longstreet | Date Submitted: 11/29/10

More Details about kidney stones here.

Summary: Kidney stone formations are due to the calcium and salts and acids which don’t break down and get purged out from the kidneys. After some time, these minerals crystallize and bond together, creating a kidney stone.

Kidney stone formations are due to the calcium and salts and acids which don’t break down and get purged out from the kidneys. After some time, these minerals crystallize and bond together, creating a kidney stone. As the kidney stones are difficult to expel from the body, they are really painful because they move through the urinary tract.

Once produced within the kidneys, the kidney stones transfer to the ureter which connects the kidneys along with the bladder. This is a really small tube, and the movement of these stones and the strain it puts on the ureter that results in severe ache.

Symptoms include pain in the back or beneath the ribs. This pain gets worse then goes away on a sixty minute cycle. Other symptoms include nausea; frequent peeing; as well as chills or fever.

Whenever you start to experience these symptoms, it is best to see the doctor regarding it. The doctor might CT scan or X-ray, to ascertain the scale, the number of the stones, and their location.

When the doctor has examined and have discovered all the information he or she might have to figure out your kidney stones, the doctor should be able to estimate just how long does it take to pass a kidney stone in your case. The doctor will likewise supply you with a strainer which permits you to catch the stone whenever it passed. This enables the physician to further examine your kidney stones.

There is no specific science on how long will it take to pass a kidney stone. From the beginning of the symptoms it could take several hours, days, or perhaps several weeks to pass the kidney stone. But the larger the stone is, the longer it’ll pass.

Kidney stones which are 6 mm or greater in size takes a lot longer to pass especially if medical methods of treatment are not used. Since the time frame is lengthier, physicians may sometimes demand the use of surgical methods to break up the stone. This is necessary given that the longer a kidney stone stays in your body, the bigger the possibilitie
s that he or she might suffer from an infection. Thus, the fast removal of the kidney stones is in order.

Natural Kidney Stone Removal – Doctor-Kept Secrets Revealed!

By Joe Barton | Date Submitted: 11/19/09

More Details about natural kidney stone removal here.

Summary: What is natural kidney stone removal? Learn why there are many more things you can do than ‘drink plenty of water’.

Natural kidney stone removal is more than drinking plenty of water. I have heard this statement plenty of times by future-customers. “My doctor told me to drink plenty of water to flush my kidney stones but it is NOT working!”

Don’t get me wrong, drinking plenty of water is extremely important for curing kidney stones but there are numerous other remedies you can also try. In this article, I will give you a few secrets your doctor should have told you but didn’t. Unfortunately, many western medical practices have chosen to stay clear of natural health; even if it means not recommending natural treatments that actually work!

Let’s get started at your natural kidney stone removal treatment!

The Best Way to Remove a Kidney Stone

1. Don’t neglect the water! Though you might not have found success with just drinking water, you still need to keep your daily intake up to at least 100 ounces of
water per day. Water keeps the kidneys flushed. Though only 1 in 10 stones need a little more than water, you still need to drink plenty of it. Many alternative doctors recommend distilled water because of being mineral-free! Completely pure!

2. Fiber and water soluble fiber is extremely important. You should be eating at least a couple salads a day (spinach is best). You should also be eating at least 6-7 servings of fruits and veggies daily. Your grains or carbs should all be whole grains with a high dietary fiber content (look at labels).

3. Phosphoric acid is present in some beverages and is also a great way to begin dissolving calcium based kidney stones. Kidney stones are usually calcium based which can be dissolved easily.

4. Exercise is also important because of shifting. Shifting is when your body will shift and actually allow the stones to be more likely to pass. Most stones will pass after a moderate exercise program. Therefore, go on tha
t daily walk!

5. Finally, eat healthy! There are numerous ‘bad’ lifestyle habits that are conducive to kidney stones. Avoid these! For instance, high sugar foods can make you more likely to develop stones. Being overweight can also put you at risk. Not getting enough water daily is also a risk!

Kidney Stones Removal Procedures – Your 4 Treatment Options

By Alvin Hopkinson | Date Submitted: 11/28/10

Keywords: Kidney Stones Removal Procedures

More Details about Kidney Stones Treatment here.

Summary: There are several new methods that have been developed over the last decades that do not necessarily require surgery. Some of the kidney stones removal procedures widely used nowadays are given below.

Normally, doctors will talk about a number of medical measures often practiced for removing kidney stones especially to patients with severe cases. Each method differs a bit from the other, and a few can be performed at home. Healthcare providers, however, will recommend the suitable kidney stones removal procedures for the patients depending on the severity of their illness.

Before, open surgery for removing kidney stones is very common. However, there are several new methods that have been developed over the last decades that do not necessarily require surgery. Some of the kidney stones removal procedures widely used nowadays are given below:

1. Extracorporeal Shockwave Lithotripsy (ESWL)

Extracorporeal Shockwave Lithotripsy procedure is done using a device specially made for this purpose. This device creates shockwaves without the aid of electricity. Shockwaves can enter the body through the body tissues and skin until such time that it will hit the kidney stone. The kidney
stones are then broken into smaller pieces or sand-like appearance and will be eliminated out of the body the natural way, together with the urine. Patients can do their tasks normally right after the treatment because this method doesn’t need a lot of time for recovery.

2. Percutaneous Nephrolithotomy

Percutaneous Nephrolithotomy is also referred to as the tunnel surgery. This method is used when the stones are too large and can’t be cleared out through ESWL. In this procedure, the surgeon will make an opening that will lead to the kidney at the back area of the patient. The nephroscope, a tube like instrument, will then be inserted in the opening to locate the kidney stone and will remove it out of the body. With this procedure, the patient is required to stay in the hospital for days to be observed. The good thing in using this procedure is that the kidney stones are eradicated out of the body physically and not just depend on the natural way.

3. Ureteroscopic Stone Removal

Ureteroscopic Stone Removal procedure is used when the stone is obstructed in the ureter. Ureteroscope, a tool specifically made for this function, is placed in the urether all the way through the bladder going to the ureter. The surgeon will then locate the stone and will mash it into smaller pieces using a particular kind of device that creates shockwaves or by using a cage like instrument to remove the stone. A tiny tube is left in the ureter for several days right after the healing process in order to help mend the lining of the ureter. This requires the use of an anesthesia to clear out stones formed in the lower and middle ureter.

4. Open (Incisional) Surgery

Open surgery, as its name suggests, is done inside an operating room after anesthesia is given to the patient. This method requires the opening of the affected part. The surgeon makes an opening or incision in the skin of the patient and unlocks the kidney’s pelvis so that the kidney stone will be removed by hand. The healing pro
cess of this kidney stone removal procedure will take four to six weeks for it involves a major operation.

10 Effective Home Remedies for Kidney Stones That Work

By Dr Easton Patrick | Date Submitted: 01/07/11

Keywords: home remedies for kidney stones, kidney stones remedies, natural remedies for kidney stones, effective remedies for kidney stones

More Details about Home Remedies for Kidney Stones here.

Summary: Our kidney has an important role to play in our system to filter the impurities and toxins. Read this article to know some effective home remedies for kidney stones.

Our kidney has an important role to play in our system. The job of the kidney is to filter the impurities and the toxins present in our body. It basically throws out the waste and impure substances from our body. This helps in the smooth functioning of our system. If the stones are formed in the kidney, they will obstruct the kidney from conducting its function and will prevent the removal of waste from our body. This can lead to serious problems and complications.

Crystallization of certain chemicals in the urine can cause the formation of these stones. There are many chemicals present in the urine like uric acid and calcium. When these chemicals are present in the urine in excess concentration, they are not soluble in urine. Thus the remaining amount starts accumulating forming into tiny stones. The stones start off very tiny in size and therefore may not pose any big threat initially. But in some cases they grow big and cause a lot of pain. The place or location of the stone is also a poin
t of concern. If the kidney stone is obstructing the flow of urine, it could cause serious problems. It builds up the pressure which results in pain and swelling of the kidney.

Most of the stones can be passed off without surgery. Home remedies can be used to dissolve or pass off the stones. Home remedies can provide much relief from the pain and discomfort generated by the kidney stones. The home remedies are safe and natural. Some of the home remedies are as follows:

1. Water: It sounds too simple to be true but water can be very effective, drinking lots of water helps to flush out toxins from our body thus helps to pass out the kidney stone.

2. Celery: Celery is known to be useful in this condition. Eating celery regularly can help in preventing the formation of kidney stones.

3. Kidney Beans: Kidney beans can be used for the treatment of kidney stones. The procedure is to boil the kidney beans pod without the seeds in water over a prolonged period of time over slow flame.
The left over water is strained and cooled down. This boiled and cooled down water is then taken at regular intervals.

4. Pomegranate: Eating pomegranate or the paste of the seeds of the pomegranate is useful too.

5. Grapes: Eating of grapes helps in the condition of kidney stones.

6. Basil: Basil juice can be mixed with honey and taken frequently. This also helps in eliminating the kidney stones.

7. Watermelon: Due to the high water content present in the watermelon, it helps.

8. Lemon: Lemon juice is considered helpful due to its high concentration of citrate present.

9. Coconut water: Drinking coconut water regularly can help pass out the kidney stone.

10. KidClear capsules: Taking one or two capsules of KidClear capsules twice daily for 2 to 3 months will help in dissolving the kidney stones naturally without causing any side effects.

Taking care of simple things will help you flush out the toxins from your body. Intake of lots of water is h
elpful. One should avoid spicy food and alcohol too. Exercise regularly and stay healthy!

Kidney stones (renal lithiasis) are usually formed because of a poor diet and not enough fluids in the body. The stones will result in pain only after becoming significantly larger in size. When you have pain while urinating, you lust consult your doctor to take kidney stone test. Most people ignore this and they visit a doctor only after developing larger stones, which cause severe pains.

The liquid waste that is concentrated in the urine minerals and substances form crystals on the kidney. What causes the pain is that as the size of the some of the kidney stones gets bigger and bigger the pain increases in direct more and more. You must take care that your kidney stone will dissolve over time.

The symptoms of kidney stones are unnoticed if the calculus are small sizes. It is possible to have kidney stones without suspecting the existence beforehand.

ould drink at least eight 8oz glasses of water a day. By drinking lots of water you will urinate more often, increasing the chances of flushing the kidney stone out of your system via urine.

Another extremely useful tip to help cure your condition is to decrease or completely eliminate your consumption of drinks that are either carbonated or have caffeine. In a world where the majority of people need that morning fix of coffee, this may be difficult to do. However, cutting these types of drinks out of your diet will greatly help pass that stone a lot quicker. The reason is because caffeine or carbonated beverages tend to dehydrate the body which decreases the production of urine. Decreasing urine production is the worst thing you can do when trying to treat your kidney pain.

The last tip to help treat your kidney pain is to consume a home remedy specially formulated to help pass that kidney stone quickly. There are many home remedies available to choose from. However, it is important to
note that not all of them have the same effectiveness. Most home remedies work in a similar manner. Once consumed their goal is to react with the elements in the stone to dissolve or break it down. Once the stone is dissolved or broken down, it can easily be passed through the urine with minimal pain.

Types of kidney diseases:

Glomerular disease: In this disease, the person excretes large amount of protein in urine and some times even the blood. This can be confirmed by taking a biopsy. Chronic kidney disease: This disease is caused due to the inevitable rise of creatinine. This declines the renal function. Acute renal failure: This is the sudden loss of renal function. Electrolyte disorders: This is caused due to the imbalances of acids and bases. Kidney stones: Kidney stones are the most common disease that can be seen in many people.

Treatment of Kidney Infection

For glomerulonephritis, treatment consists of rest and
antibiotics for any bacterial infection. The treatment may continue for one to two weeks after tests of blood, blood pressure, and the urine indicates that the kidneys are back to normal. Sodium and protein may be restricted.

For pyelonephritis, the most important measures are to eliminate the bacteria with antibiotics given orally or intravenously and to correct any obstruction. When obstruction cannot be eliminated and recurrent infections persist, then long-term antibiotic therapy may be required.

Home Remedies for Kidney Failure

Experts suggest that drinking a teaspoon of basil juice mixed with a teaspoon of honey once daily for 6 months can help in removing kidney stones.

Find powerful herbal remedies Natural Supplements for Kidney Failure

Drinking apple juice everyday can help in breaking down the minerals and acid salts thereby helping them to pass more easily th
rough the urine thereby treating kidney stones. Experts recommend that regular intake of celery can help those who are at a risk of developing kidney stones in the future Among all fruits, watermelon is considered to have the highest water content and it is also a rich source of potassium. Being a diuretic, it can help in flushing out stones from the kidneys. You can add 1-2 tablespoon of dried nettle leaves in 1 cup of hot water and boil it for few minutes. Drinking 2-3 cups of nettle leaf tea every day can help in preventing the formation of kidney stones.

Kidney stones are formations from the four types of substances that are present in the urine and leave the body through urination through the urinary apparatus. These four species are calcium, straiten, cosine and uric acid. Among these cosine stones are a result of genetic configurations and almost nothing in common with regular bladder activity. The presence of kidney stones can lead to severe back pain, and this is one of the primary symptoms of kidney pain. This pain is also the result of stones become larger in size.

Primary treatment for kidney stones in the course drink plenty of water. What happens when you drink less water is that you urinate more concentrated solution. This causes the deposition of urinary components along the urinary system, which later accumulate to become stones. Thus, drinking lots of water can wash away the excess deposits around the kidneys. This is an effective treatment, and when you have kidney stones, and when you do
not have them as a preventive measure. Fluid necessary for the body to get rid of the deposits or stones formed in the kidneys. Stones from the course must be flushed to the bladder to ensure their escape from the body.

In fact, washing away the stones in the consumption of large quantities of water and increase fluid contribution to the body of one of the easiest ways to treat this disease. The mechanism includes the production of less concentrated urine that is highly concentrated in the water course. This water and urinal fluid passes from the urethra into the bladder stone is in the latter, which may include pain, if the stones are large. Again after the regular removal of a kidney stone symptoms, which are standard and usually a few pieces of rubble are retained in the kidneys. It can also be gotten rid of by flushing them with water.

Lemon juice to replace other water that effectively clean the stones in the kidney. What is also particularly lemon
juice is that it has the properties to dissolve calcium deposits in the kidneys. Thus, they help greatly in making stones less. With decreasing size of the stones it is much easier to be flushed from the kidneys.

There are also special herbal teas that can be drunk to ease the kidney stones. One obvious way in which it does so by increasing the liquid content in the body and thus with the urine. Another compound, which may be useful in this regard is that of the lime juice with olive oil. Apart from all this is very important that at least three liters of water to drink every day to help flush out the stones.

This disorder is more common in men than in women. The remedy lies in avoiding dehydration at all possible. Water with a rate of cheap natural solution that can help you. Take care of your dietary allocations, too. But once again prevention is far better than cure and does not involve pain, but only a little effort.

Can drinking to much water cause kidney stones?

I don’t drink much water and have been worrying about kidney stones. Im wanting to start drinking lots more water a day but can the sudden increase in so much water cause stones to develope?

Answer

Drink 10-12 glasses of water a day (or 5-6 20oz bottles of water), take calcium citrate, potassium and B-Complex vitamins every day. These minerals have been proven to prevent stones from forming. Try to stay away from tea and lots of chocolate. Trust me, having a kidney stone is the worst pain you can imagine, worse than childbirth. Take preventative measures now! Always keep a bottle of water with you so you can sip from it throughout the day instead of chugging down a lot of water at once (which will upset your stomach).

What is the best for treating kidney stones?Answer

Find a way to supplement your diet with magnesium. Try to add 350mg of magnesium to your diet daily. This treatment has been found to eliminate kidney stones in some patients. Magnesium has been studied for the last 40 years and results have always been the same. Magnesium helps the body naturally rid itself of kidney stones.

Avoid snacks and foods that are high in sugar. This includes soft drinks and juices. Sugar has been associated with the formation of kidney stones. Avoid sugars until your kidney stones pass. When you consume something sweet let it be something with natural sugar, like fruit.

Drink plenty of water, but also add fruit and vegetable juices including carrot, grape and orange juices. Such juices contain high levels of citrates. Citrates help reduce the buildup of uric acid and eliminate the formation of calcium salts, both contributors to the formation of kidney stones.

Lastly, eat foods high in chlorophyll. Vegetables high in chlorophyll have been shown to help cleanse kidneys, helping to eliminate kidney stones. Include foods like asparagus, wheat grass, and fresh parsley in your diet.

live remote.. dr is not a option.. any suggestions?

Answer

Not sure how to deal with the present pain, but to prevent future pain, remember to keep hydrated, drink lots of fluids, especially water. I donated a kidney a few years ago, and have had one stone. Painful passing it.

I thought I had a kidney stone but ended up peeing out like a bloody chunk of skin. Is that normal?

Mind you, this was after an entire day of cramping and burning urine and peeing blood clots and so on, so it might be…but I looked up kidney stones and they look nothing like this. what’s going on?

Answer

Keep your pH levels high by eating and drinking alkaline foods. You got kidney stones cus your body is too acidic. It can cause other health problems too. Good luck.

How can u make a kidney stone come out faster without hurting so much? jw?

some one told me iam at the age to start getting kidney stones and i was wondering what do they feal like when they start and how do u get them to come out faster?

Answer

It is no surprise that there is a kidney stones home treatment. After all, most doctors agree that kidney stones are one of the simplest ailments to cure naturally. Although they are extremely painful, rest assured that you can pass them in less than a day if you are proactive about flushing your kidneys.

Typically, a doctor will recommend drinking plenty of water to flush the kidney stones. This works because kidney stones are usually caused by dehydration (not enough water) and therefore flushing the kidneys will naturally pass the stone. In fact, you have probably passed numerous stones already and didn’t even know it.

Unfortunately, when a kidney stone grows in size (larger than 5 mm), it becomes more and more difficult to pass naturally (with only water). And more unfortunately, most doctors do not recommend anything more than plenty of water. They may recommend an expensive medication or an even more expensive treatment.

But before you go back for that next $150 doctor visit, you may wish to try some natural health secrets that work by dissolving the kidney stone(s) and allowing your body to pass them naturally.

Treat Kidney Stones with Natural Health Secrets

1. Your doctor has probably mentioned to drink water. But you should be drinking distilled water which is mineral-free. By drinking distilled water, you can be sure you are not adding to the mineral composition of your kidney stones. You should also be drinking at least 16 ounces (2 cups) of water for every 2 hours you are awake.

2. You may also wish to use your diet to your advantage. One way to flush the kidneys with your diet is to eat plenty of water soluble dietary fiber which can be found in all fruits and vegetables. Eating at least 5-7 servings of fruits and veggies today will naturally flush your kidneys and could help pass your stone(s).

3. Did you know eating foods that contain chlorophyll will naturally cleanse the kidneys? Three plants very rich in chlorophyll are wheatgrass, parsley, and asparagus. You should try to supplement one of these foods daily. You can find these at most grocery stores or health stores.

4. In a recent research study, it was found that kidney stone sufferers are typically deficient in vitamin B-6. Research shows that you should begin to supplement a complex B vitamin daily if you are at risk or have suffered from kidney stones in your past.

5. Finally, phosphoric acid has also been one of the latest headlines when it comes to kidney stone natural health. Phosphoric acid is an acid that is found in everything from cleaning supplies and also beverages. However, phosphoric acid has also been shown to dissolve kidney stones naturally. And because the body’s liver does not play any role in acid base regulation, a phosphoric acid may be the trick to curing kidney stones by tomorrow. Hope this helps

Can it be kidney stones?

I am a 14 year old boy. I feel pain in my lower right back region. The pain isn’t always coming. Nor does it come at any specific time or situation When i press the region I feel the pain and also when I deliberately put some stress on it.I don’t see any blood in my urine I just want to know if it can be kidney stones.

Thanks

Answer

Just because you have a kidney stone doesn’t mean you will be in pain constantly or see blood in your urine. Sometimes you do have blood in your urine but you can’t see it. It all depends on the size of the stone, how fast it’s moving, and if it gets stuck.

I would make an appointment with a urologist so they can do an Xray to see if it’s there. Usually stones are small enough to where they will pass on their own, but sometimes the pain gets so bad that you have to take pain medication while it’s passing.

Make sure to drink lots of water to flush that stone out if you do have one.

There is no such thing as a kidney stone being in early stages when it starts to pass. It takes years for them to build up in your kidneys, and then one they drop out of your kidneys and enter the ureter, that is when you start to feel that pain. Once the stone moves further down towards the bladder, you will start to hurt moreso in the lower abdomen towards your groin.

Pregnancy Tips

I need tips on the best way to get pregnant.?

I am trying to conceive – unsuccessfully, and any advice or tips would help. I am 35 years old and quite healthy. I have one seventeen year old child so i know i am can fall pregnant. Please help, we are desperate to have a baby!

Solution

Stress can definitely inhibit pregnancy, as can alcohol, sleep deprivation, and caffein.

Best way to get prego is to trak your cycle and know your body. You want to try to have sex at least 4 or so days prior to ovulation, the day of ovulation, and a day or two after ovulation to increase sperm availability when the egg is dropped. Track your Basal Body Temp (BBT) on a chart. A basal thermometer is more detailed than a regular thermometer. For instance, a normal thermometer will track your temp at 98.6 while a BBT will track it at 98.64. What you’re looking for is a shift in temp by at least .40 degrees. When you see that shift, you’ve already ovulated.

You also want to track your cervical mucus (CM). You are usually dry right after your period with no CM. It starts to become creamy and thicker a few days prior to ovulation, and during ovulation, it increases in volume and becomes clear and sticky, much like egg whites. That’s your optimal time to have sex. have sex around ovulation (usually around 10 to 14 days after your period, not always though…for example I usually ovulate on DAY 17 that meant that it was better for me to have sex 14-17 days after my period) Find out when you ovulate. Find more infor on this at fertilityfriend.com

Lift your hips under pillow after intercourse to allow sperm to let gravity help the little swimmers!

Position is missionary. Woman on top lets sperm leak out easier, and is not the most productive way. Also, lay there for at least 15-20 min after intercourse to allow sperm to move up to the egg.

YOu may also want to use an ovulation predictor kit (OPK). It tells you that you are about to ovulate with in 12-36 hours.

Ask your hubby to wear boxers instead of briefs if he’s not already wearing them. (not confirmed, but i’ve heard this can help sperm)

Also, start taking prenatal vitamins and folic acid supplements now. In case you do get pregnant, you won’t know it for about 2-3 weeks, and the folic acid and vitamins are essential to development this early on.

**It takes the average woman anywhere from 6-9 months to conceive once they start trying for a baby. Don’t get frustrated. It takes time!

HOpe this helps! Baby blessings to you!

Pregnancy tips please?

I know it’s a very general question, but, does anyone have any tips for me? almost 2 months gone now, I’ve got alot of information but I’d love to hear what everyone has to say :)

Really, anything; about what to do, expect or anything during my pregnancy or after the pregnancy.

I’m having a beautiful half Japanese half British Caucasian baby! Very excited.

Solution

First of all, Congrats!

The only tip I guess i have is- enjoy every second of being pregnant…it gets hard towards the end..but you can look forward to the first time you feel your baby move, and the first time you get to see your partners face when he feels the baby move- it’s magical! Also, being able to see your little one on the scan- it all starts to become real then.

Don’t listen to any of the horror birth stories you hear, take everyone’s advice into consideration, but when it comes down to it- you know your body, you know your baby and everyone’s experiences are different- make your own experiences!

take photos of your growing belly- you’ll be amazed at the changes! and if your into it, keep a journal of different feelings or changes that are happening to your body- fascinating to read back over later on..

Congrats again!

Pregnancy Tips Please?

Me and My Girlfriend are trying for a baby, we thought she was as she has had a coupl of weeks of morning sickness and sickness during the day but we did the test and it sed no… any tips on how to get pregnant… ive searched all the internet sites and that but if she is due on her period say the 14-19th of april whens the best time she could fall pregnant?

Solution

It’s still very likely she is pregnant.

If she is due on the 14-19th, you probably conceived only 2 weeks ago which means it’s probably too early to tell.

Just wait until she’s due for her period and if it doesn’t come do a test.

And in regards to your ques, get a product called maybe baby – its chemists and it tests whether you are ovulating by a saliva test. easy.

they say it’s about 2 weeks before you get your period.

What are some tips to have a healthy pregnancy?

Solution

No drinking, no smoking, no drugs.

Don’t strain yourself but it’s fine to excercise.

Follow the do’s and dont’s of what you can or cannot eat.

Stay away from too much caffiene.

Get enough sleep.

If you are doing something and get too stressed or physically overwhelmed – take a break.

I would read around articles on www.babycenter.com it’s helped me a lot with both my pregnancies and raising my first child.

Tips for Rat Pregnancy?

Okay, my little girl is definately expecting some ratlets. The thing is that it has probably been about four years since I last bred any of my rats. Mommy and Daddy are both sweethearts-also have never shown any sign of illness. She is probably just under a year old. She has had some extremely minimal spotting for about a day and a half, and her little **** are becoming more noticeable. Obviously, she has a huge nest built up. She has been separated from her cagemates. Anyway, I’m a little rusty, so if anyone can offer me any tips or websites they found helpful during their ratty pregnancy, please send them in! If there are any questions I can answer to help you give more precise tips, ask and I’ll answer. Thanks!

Solution

ok… when she is giving birth, leave the room. i think they usually give birth at night.

Which pregnancy test is the best? How much do they usually run for?

Solution

anyone is fine. I like to get the ones that have 2test in them.. that way if it said negitive i could take another one the next week (if i still didnt get my period) or if it said positive take it the next day just to make sure.

I got mine for $12 for 2 of them and i found out 2x that i was pregos’!

it was called first answer or something like that. You dont need a really expensive one, unless you JUST missed your period by a day than the EPT test will detect the HCG level better. But thouse test go for like $25 rip of it you ask me!

i just found out and i’m 3-4weeks along!

good luck!

I need tips for acne in pregnancy?

I’m 8 weeks pregnant to my second child and im starting to get really sore, red acne all over my face. My skin was always so nice and nothing seems to be helping get rid of them? Is there anything I can use to help not get any more pimples? I’m also having trouble finding any energy to do ANYTHING. I’m so tired all the time and now I have headaches from sleeping too much. I never had with my first son and I feel so sick all the time? Is this normal?

Solution

Yup. My acne ALWAYS gets worse with pregnancy. It sucks. As if I don’t feel like a fat cow already, I have to have huge sore red acne all over my face. Lovely.

Ah well. Nothing really helped. Sometimes it gets better later during pregnancy. Just use antibacterial soap and wash gently twice a day. IT is safe and as effective as most acne washes. An it is guaranteed not to hurt the baby.

Maternity Health insurance

Best maternity insurance?

I was wondering what the best health insurance out there for maternity and child birth is? Right now I have pretty basic health insurance, as I am very healthy and don’t need to go to the doctor often, but once I get pregnant (we’re going to try in the next year or so) I plan on switching my insurance so that I’m paying the minimum out of pocket for all (or most of) those doctor’s visits and labs, etc. What is the best provider/what type of coverage should I be looking for? How much did it cost YOU to have a baby (the actual medical bills) and how much should I expect to pay each month for my premium?

Answer

We have Blue Cross Blue Sheild. My first pregnancy cost $387,000.00 because I was in the hospital for 99 days due to complicattons. It only cost us a $50.00 copay, out of pocket, and that’s only because I requested a private room.

Copays for sonograms and OB visits were $15.00. Scripts if needed are $7.00, $15.00, and $30.00 for medicine that is not generic, which is very rare.

Also, both of my girls are covered until age 18 will all doctor visits, no copays.

We pay $240 a month, but my husband gets it through his employer. I’m sure its more if you sign up for a plan individually.

They are the most wonderful plan when it comes to pregnancy. I am extremely high risk and have had 2 pregnancies under this plan, and 2 under another, and this one is in a class of its own.

Good luck!

Maternity Health Insurance?

This is probably a weird place to ask this, but having trouble finding an answer online. I have individual health insurance, and my plan will not cover a pregnancy if conception occurs before 6 months after I add the maternity coverage. I am not currently pregnant, however I would like to begin trying before 6 months from now. Does anyone know of a health care plan that you can add maternity coverage to, and not have a waiting period for conception? For instance, if I opted for extra coverage in October and became pregnant in Dec., could I be covered?

Answer

A lot of Insurances consider a pregnancy a ‘pre existing condition’ and will not cover you if you get pregnant within the first year of getting the Insurance Policy.

I suggest you look into several different policies.

We have Blue Cross PPO and I changed my plan in July and got pregnant in October, it was covered. Pregnancy is automatically covered in my plan, I didn’t have to ‘add’ Pregnancy; it’s part of Blue Cross coverage. Just make sure you have the Insurance for a full 30 days before you become pregnant.

Maybe you should switch to Blue Cross PPO or HMO.

What is the best company for Maternity Health insurance?

I’m not looking to go on medicaid, I don’t want to use taxpayers money if I can afford a reasonable individual health insurance plan. I am very early on in pregnancy and would like to know if anyone knows of a good plan with reasonable rates. I would appreciate it if you had details (plan names). We can afford a deductible of around $4000 or less.

Answer

You may want to try a website that compares multiple companies at once to get you the best price & maternity coverage. I am paying less than ½ after I did.

What are my best options for self-employed health insurance with maternity in Illinois?

I am leaving a well paid corporate job with great benefits to work for myself. I was recently married and my wife wants to have children soon. She does not have benefits through her job so I need to ensure we are covered well. What are some great options for affordable health coverage in Illinois that includes maternity and what’s the time frame before maternity coverage kicks in?

Answer

Maternity is very expensive on an individual policy. The wait is usually 1 year, meaning the pregnancy can’t begin until after a year has elapsed. Maternity is about $350 to $450 extra a month. But it is very worth it if there are any complications.

Probably BCBS is your best bet.

You can get a quote by going to www.bcbsil.com, just enter your zip and go from there.

You might consider a high deductible HSA plan too, but you would still need to add maternity to that plan.

H1n1 virus update India

I received this H1n1 virus update fwd email from my personal banker in India :

PLEASE GO THROUGH THIS
My dear Presidents,I agree with you that swine flu awareness is needed, but there is no need to be panicky and join the publicity propaganda carried out by media and others which acts as a vehicle to spread misconception than to spread scientific information. These are few facts about swine flu when discussed with the leading epidemiologists.

1) Swine flu, that is H1N1 flu is not new, first detected in 1987
2) Infective stage of flue is 5 days, 1 day before and 4 days after onset of symptoms. The best way to prevent it spreading is asking patient having symptoms of flu like fever cough and running nose to take rest at home for 4 days so he does not transmit it
3) Masks are of limited value if any, in this disease, it can spread through droplets on your skin, through contact etc, and I have seen that the masks in Pune are worn as fashion statement, while walking on road today morning I saw people wearing masks coming out for a morning walk with their dogs!, many wearing masks around their necks, and so on, infact these masks shall act as the vehicles to carry the virus, instead, avoiding crowded places or cinema halls or malls where airconditioners are on, is advisable, because you get recirculated air, where the virus density multiplies
4)Death after H1N1 flu is not common, infact infections like measles is taking toll of thousands more every year, and we are oblivious of the facts. Swine flu is being blown out of proportion by media trying to create hysteria among lay people.
5) Fever accompanied by respiratory distress, should be immediately notified which is likely to be a complication of H1N1 flu
6)The mortality is less than .01 percent of those affected, that means may be one in 10,000 affected is likely to suffer the life loss.
7) If you remember, 2 years ago SARS was blown out of proportion, what happened? Humans develop immunity to the virus, the same is going to happen, we develop immunity in due course of time, the virus is in the air, you can not stop it, our body is already developing the immunity so nothing to panic.

We need to take care of children and elderly who have less immunity and do not let them go to crowded places that is all .
WE MUST START THIS CAMPAIGN OF NOT TO BE AFRAID OF THIS FLU AND LET YOUR DAILY WORK CONTINUE AS NORMAL, NO MASKS FOR ORDINARY CITIZENS, HEALTH CARE WORKERS OR SPECIFIC EXPOSED TO LOT OF CROWDED ENVIRONMENTS MAY BE BENEFITTED, NOT PROVEN.

I am amazed to hear that people are selling masks of RS 20 each which are available to less than Rupee 1 in the market.
See who is getting benefitted?

Please spread the scientific info, do not join the band wagon and stick to science, that should be the order of the day.
